Mission Statement
Island Queers is a bi-weekly gathering where queer youth and young adults can thrive, feel supported, and forge meaningful connections. We offer a kaleidoscope of group discussions, resources, and education on everything queer, challenging norms, and embracing our authentic selves. Our mission is to ignite the spark within LGBTQ+ youth and young adults on Aquidneck Island, fueling their growth and self-discovery. By sharing our experiences, we become an empowering collective that emboldens one another to embrace our diverse identities with pride. Together, we aspire to weave a colorful tapestry of queer voices, uniting both youth and young adults on Aquidneck Island in a dynamic, loving, and radically inclusive support network.
Safe Space Policy
Here at Island Queers, we are committed to making our events as safe, respectful, and enjoyable as possible. It is our top priority to keep the information you share securely.
